John Check, a senior at Austintown Fitch, earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT, something achieved by less than one percent of test takers nationwide. Check maintains a 3.8 GPA, with a schedule of Honors, Advanced Placement, and College Credit Plus courses throughout his high school career. He is also a member of the National Honor Society, according to a news release from the high school.
