Ohio legislature passes law allowing students 3 days off a year for religious holidays

By Jan. 22, each Ohio school district and charter and STEM schools must adopt a policy that allows students three days off each year to observe religious holy days.

As part of a recently passed bill in the Ohio General Assembly, schools must provide alternative accommodations for students while they’re gone to make up exams and other activities.
