JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio-Jackson Township fire chief confirmed the victim of a weekend fire as 13-year-old Joshua Terry, who succumbed to injuries at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center. Firefighters responded to the blaze at a three-unit apartment building on Harris Avenue NW, alerted by a caller reporting a resident trapped inside. Upon arrival, flames were already visible. Chief Tim Berczik stated the fire originated in a gas fireplace on the first floor, with the victim allegedly involved in its ignition.
