SPENCERVILLE, Ohio-Spencerville concluded its Northwest Conference schedule with a commanding 6-1 victory over Allen East at Memorial Field. The Bearcats quickly established a lead with three goals in the first half: Noah Stewart scored first, followed by two rapid goals from senior Jon Altieri. Despite a goal from Manny Rettig for Allen East just before halftime, Spencerville maintained control of the game. In the second half, senior Beau Kyler extended the lead, and Altieri completed his hat trick with a dramatic bicycle kick, followed by a goal from Zach Zerbe. Spencerville outshot Allen East 11-3 in the first half and managed to overcome some second-half challenges to secure the win. Coach Josh Van Gorder praised his team’s efforts and their ability to finish, noting the progress they’ve made throughout the season.
