NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio-Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted visited New Lexington High School as part of In-Demand Jobs Week, a statewide initiative highlighting sought-after jobs, industries, and skills. During his visit, Husted toured the Emergent Welding Program and the Workforce Development Center at New Lexington Local Schools.
The school recently received $2.5 million through the Career Technical Education Equipment Grant to enhance their Workforce Development Center, enabling the expansion and renovation of programs such as Advanced Manufacturing and Health Care.
