TOLEDO, Ohio-The Northwest Ohio Classical Academy (NOCA), a charter school in Toledo, has seen significant growth since its establishment six years ago, more than doubling its student population from 200 to over 600. The school has expanded its offerings, including the recent introduction of a junior varsity soccer team, marking a milestone for the community. NOCA now serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on classical education with minimal technology and a uniform dress code. Unlike public schools, NOCA is funded by donations and state allocations, receiving about $8,000 per student based on enrollment. With 250 student-athletes participating in eight sports, the school emphasizes building a strong athletic program. An enrollment event is scheduled for October 21 at their location.
