COLUMBUS, Ohio-Columbus State Community College is hosting a back-to-school event offering free parking at Mitchell Hall, with shuttle bus service available. Attendees can receive complimentary backpacks, books, and school supplies, provided by over 100 CCS Departments and community partners. The event includes children’s activities like bouncy slides and an obstacle course, organized by Columbus Recreation and Parks. Sponsored by several organizations including Columbia Gas and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the event is restricted to one backpack per student, who must be present to receive it.
