MANDISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio-Junior Samantha Myers from Madison Comprehensive High School achieved a remarkable feat by securing perfect scores of 36 in both math and science on the ACT test. Her accomplishment elicited celebratory reactions, including loud cheers in her household.
Myers, who also scored a 33 in reading and a 29 in English, attained a composite score of 34. Ranked first in her class of 225 students, she is on track to become the valedictorian next year. Madison’s high school principal, Sean Conway, praised Myers for her academic excellence and character. Despite her rigorous schedule, which includes various extracurricular activities and part-time work at Domino’s Pizza, Myers manages her time effectively. She plans to pursue computer science or computer engineering at her preferred colleges, which include Ivy League institutions. Myers’ achievements were recognized by the board of education at their monthly meeting.
