SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP, Ohio- On Tuesday evening in Shawnee Township, the Shawnee High School Marching Band practiced for their 2024 festival show, inspired by the Broadway musical *Wicked*. The jazzy performance will feature popular songs like “No One Mourns the Wicked,” “Defying Gravity,” and “No Good Deed.” During practice, students discussed the friendships and life skills gained from being in the marching band. Senior Lourie Rigali highlighted teamwork and alignment, while Junior Drum Major William Owen emphasized accountability and support among band members. The band invites the community to attend their upcoming performances showcasing their hard work.
