EAST KNOX, Ohio-Four members of the East Knox FFA participated in the State Environmental/Natural Resources Career Development Event, securing fourth place among teams from across Ohio.
The competition involved three phases: an exam on environmental and natural resources, a group presentation on “Climate-smart Agricultural Practices,” and fieldwork including water and soil analysis, waste management, and environmental site assessment. East Knox FFA has consistently performed well in this event since its inception in 2007, often placing in the top five and winning in 2021. Their fourth-place finish this year earns them a banner of recognition.
