ATWATER, Ohio-Springfield junior Baelyn Brungard achieved over 1,000 career digs during the Tigers’ 3-1 victory against Waterloo in high school volleyball, contributing 23 digs and 18 kills. Senior Jameka Brungard also made headlines by breaking the school record for kills, achieving 26 in the match, surpassing the previous record of 24 set in 2019. With this win, the Tigers improved to 13-6 and will next host Struthers on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m.
