BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-On Thursday, Logan County hosted Manufacturing Day for area high school juniors and seniors, giving them the opportunity to connect with local manufacturing industries. The event, held at DMG Tool & Die, Powerbuilt, and NX Automotive Logistics, aimed to showcase career opportunities in the manufacturing sector. In celebration of National Manufacturing Day, which highlights the importance of manufacturing to the economy, the event featured tours of various local facilities, including EWH Spectrum and the Honda PRO Center. Nearly 150 students from Benjamin Logan, Bellefontaine, Indian Lake, Ohio Hi-Point, and Riverside High Schools participated. The tours provided valuable insights into the latest technologies and production processes, emphasizing the interconnectedness of Logan County’s manufacturing companies and the skills required for success in the field.
