LEBANON, Ohio-Michelle Berry has resigned from her position as a member of the Lebanon Board of Education, creating a vacancy that the board is now seeking to fill. Berry cited issues in working with fellow board members and Superintendent Isaac Seevers, expressing frustration with what she perceives as a lack of interest in oversight and communication within the board.
She also raised concerns about the Woven Traditions curriculum and a payment dispute between the district and a supplemental employee. Despite her resignation, Berry expressed continued dedication to the district’s students and teachers and did not rule out a future run for a school board seat.
