CINCINNATI, Ohio-The Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education voted to make interim Superintendent Shauna Murphy the district’s permanent superintendent in a 4-3 decision at Monday night’s meeting. Murphy, who has over 35 years of experience in education, was appointed interim superintendent in May 2024 following the resignation of the previous superintendent, Iranetta Wright.
