LIMA, Ohio-Heir Force Community School welcomed approximately 250 students for the new school year at their new location in the former Spherion building on North Elizabeth Street. The transformation of the building allows kindergarten through 8th-grade students to be under one roof, creating a unified space for learning. Executive Director Dr. Willie Heggins expressed pride in seeing students excited about their new environment, which also offers exposure to various career paths in the downtown area. However, this location is temporary, as plans are underway for a more permanent home at 799 North Main Street, set to begin next month.
