AKRON, Ohio-Forty local children, aged 7 to 12, have used advanced AI tools to write, illustrate, and publish their own stories on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. A celebration event will be held at the University of Toledo on Saturday, featuring book displays, a red carpet, and a photo station. Each young author will have 15 books to sell for $10 each and receive swag bags from various sponsors. The Young Empowered Authors program aims to foster creativity, confidence, and literacy skills while educating about AI. The initiative is supported by local organizations and businesses.
