C;EVE;AND, Ohio-More than a dozen schools in the snowbelt announced closures for Tuesday due to another round of lake-effect snow, which could bring snowfall totals above 5 feet in some areas. A lake-effect snow warning remains in effect for Ashtabula, Geauga, and Lake counties until 7 a.m. Tuesday, with similar warnings replaced by winter weather advisories for Cuyahoga County. The region is expected to receive an additional 5 to 10 inches of snow. As of Monday, snow accumulation was nearing 3 feet in Ashtabula, 4 feet in Geneva, and 5 feet in Saybrook. Meteorologists expect the snow event to ease by Tuesday afternoon.
