The Senate’s proposed budget includes a few key issues such as public school funding, food-banks, and libraries. Education funding has been one of the biggest topics for lawmakers. While the House’s proposal eliminated the fair school funding formula, the Senate restored it and actually gave districts more money than the House. But Aaron Sable, superintendent of Medina City Schools, said they’re concerned because the formula doesn’t account for inflation.
