WARREN, Ohio-A former Akron police officer, Geoffrey Parker, has pleaded guilty to eight felony charges related to child exploitation. The charges include illegal use of minors in nudity-oriented material, pandering sexually oriented matter involving minors, gross sexual imposition, and pandering obscenity. According to prosecutors, Parker shared explicit content involving minors and photographed a 4-year-old victim, trading these images online. The crimes reportedly occurred in Weathersfield. Parker was placed on unpaid leave in August when initially charged. Following a pre-sentence investigation, his sentencing is scheduled for November 26.
