Columbus police are investigating after a 3-year-old child suffered a gunshot wound early Friday morning on Columbus’ Far East Side. A Columbus police dispatcher said a call came in at 1:48 a.m. reporting a child was shot in the head in the 700 block of Walnut Grove Court near North Waggoner Road, according to Columbus police.
