Yater has served Northwest for over 24 years, holding various positions before becoming superintendent in 2021. He expressed pride in the district’s progress under his leadership and looks forward to supporting staff directly in his new role.
His resignation will be effective after the NWLSD Board of Education meeting on June 3. Yater shared a heartfelt message with NWLSD staff, reflecting on his career and expressing gratitude for the opportunities and relationships he has built within the district.
