CLEVELAND, Ohio-Two youths were arrested near Frank Jacinto Elementary School in Lorain after school employees reported seeing them with handguns. The boys, whose ages were not disclosed, were approached by staff outside Lorain High School and fled toward the elementary school when officers were notified. A staff member at the elementary school saw them throw their guns over a fence before they were apprehended. Both schools were placed under brief lockdowns as a precaution. The Lorain Police Department praised school staff for their vigilance in ensuring safety.
