TIFFIN, Ohio-Calvert Catholic High School in Tiffin dismissed classes early due to a handwritten note found in the hallway expressing safety concerns and mentioning a weapon on campus.
The principal, Megan Schultz, initiated a soft lockdown and, in collaboration with Tiffin police and the sheriff’s office, conducted thorough searches of students’ belongings, classrooms, lockers, and common areas. No further threats were found. Tiffin police are investigating the incident, emphasizing the seriousness of all threats and prioritizing school safety. The school appreciates the cooperation and understanding of the community during this time.
