One of two teens who were accused of shooting and killing a man outside the Greater Dayton Recreation Center during an attempted robbery has been sentenced to more than a dozen years in prison.
Kyree G. Whitaker, 19, was sentenced by Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge Timothy O’Connell to 15 to 19 and a half years in prison, followed by two to five years of parole, and was ordered to pay a total of 7,169.63 in restitution.
