AKRON, Ohio-The Akron Public Schools community is grieving the loss of 15-year-old Jazmir Tucker, a ninth-grade student at North High School. The district has made counselors, psychologists, and community partners available at the school to support students, staff, and the community. These resources will continue to be accessible in the coming days. The district is focused on providing care and asks for privacy for Jazmir’s family as they cope with this tragedy.
