NILES, Ohio-Students at Niles Primary School were evacuated on Wednesday after an odor triggered the smoke alarms shortly before noon. Following safety protocols, the building was evacuated, and the fire department was called to the scene.
Fortunately, there was no fire, and neither students nor staff were in danger at any point, according to a district spokesperson. Students were allowed back inside around 12:30 p.m., while the fire department continued to investigate the source of the odor.
