PAULDING, Ohio-Paulding High School proudly announces the successful completion of its after-school certification program in welding, now in its third year. In collaboration with Northwest State Community College, students gained skills and certifications including Welding, OHSA-10, LEAN Six Sigma, and Blueprint Reading. Staci Miller, the school’s FFA Advisor, and Thomas Zuber of Zuber Welding and Fabrication led the initiative, guiding students through hands-on training and preparing them for promising careers.
Students engaged in 13 weeks of instruction, including hands-on training, book work, and business tours, totaling 50 hours of instruction outside regular school hours. Graduates, celebrated with their families, included Drake Ankney, Matthew Bail, Jesus Estrada, Giovanni Linares, Jonathan Lipps, and Samuel Reinhard. The program reflects Paulding High School’s commitment to empowering students with the skills needed for success in the workforce.
