North College Hill, Summit Country Day Agree to Date, Time Change for Homecoming Game

NORTH COLLEGE HILL, Ohio-The homecoming football game between North College Hill and Summit Country Day School has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 12, at 11 a.m., moving it from the originally planned date of October 11. This change allows for a college-style homecoming weekend, enabling students to enjoy both the game and the homecoming dance on the same day. The decision follows a previous incident on September 6, when shots fired near the stadium interrupted a game against Cincinnati Country Day. Since then, North College Hill has implemented enhanced safety measures, including administrator presence at all entry points, restrictions on bag entries, and police escorts for visiting teams. Authorities confirmed that the gunfire was not directed at the stadium and occurred near an apartment complex across the street.
