Otsego Local Schools superintendent says the district is taking disciplinary action after administrators found two lists created by elementary students that included the names of other 4th and 5th-grade students. According to a notice sent to Otsego families on Friday, a student reported to a school counselor that a classmate had been writing in a journal on the bus, which included references to other students being harmed. School staff and law enforcement began an investigation and located two lists labeled “Kill List” and “Death Note.”
