WESTERVILLE, Ohio-Bryanna Barozzini, now 20, was sentenced to three years in prison by a Franklin County judge for involuntarily manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Halia Culbertson outside a smoke shop in March 2023. Barozzini, who pleaded guilty, faced a maximum sentence of three years. The sentencing hearing was emotionally charged, with Culbertson’s family expressing their belief that Barozzini intentionally stabbed Halia, whom she had a falling out with. They questioned how Barozzini ended up at the same place and time as Culbertson if not for intent.
