A Lucas County grand jury indicted two people for the death of a 7-year-old with special needs in what is believed to be a case of neglect. The case stems from the death of 7-year-old Kristopher Snyder in June 2023. Prosecutors told 13 Action News the child was extremely malnourished. An autopsy report revealed that malnutrition and dehydration associated with cerebral palsy and epilepsy were the cause of death. The coroner’s office determined the manner of death is a homicide.
