COLUMBUS, Ohio-A two-month-old baby, Caius Burris, was safely reunited with his mother after a frantic Amber Alert led to a statewide search in Ohio. Officers from Columbus found the baby at an apartment complex following concerns about the child’s safety, particularly regarding his father, who was reportedly in crisis. During the rescue, officers Krystal Mori and Jason Ellsesser provided comfort to the baby, even giving him a bottle. They expressed relief at the happy outcome, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the child’s well-being first. Both officers, who are parents themselves, took additional steps to care for Caius by purchasing diapers and food, recognizing he may have needed those after being missing.
