CHILLICOTHE, Ohio-Police are investigating an alleged assault on a teenage girl found wandering on North Brownell Street early Tuesday morning. The 17-year-old teen claimed she had been assaulted at a nearby residence after leaving her home without permission. She reported being pressured to drink alcohol by individuals at the residence and was pushed out by a friend’s mother.
Subsequently, she was allegedly punched by a male identified as “Rico,” causing her to lose consciousness. Officers observed injuries consistent with an assault, and the teen was returned to her guardian, who declined medical treatment due to no major injuries. Police are seeking witnesses and trying to identify those involved.
