BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-During the Bellefontaine Board of Education’s monthly meeting, Superintendent Brad Hall and Director of Administrative Services Roger Ely provided a back-to-school update. They announced that several substitute teachers have been hired, addressing challenges with coverage. The school hours were outlined, with the school year starting on September 4th for grades 1-9. Ely detailed summer projects funded by ESSER and permanent improvement funds, including new energy-efficient LED lights at AcuSport Stadium, updated auditorium seating, and repairs at various schools. Technology upgrades were highlighted, with fiber optics and a wireless connection installed at the stadium.
