CLEVELAND, Ohio-Forbes recently ranked Cleveland as the 8th most educated city in the U.S., highlighting its strong educational statistics. The city boasts a low high school dropout rate of 5.26%, significantly better than Milwaukee’s 21.29%. In Cleveland, 43.83% of residents aged 25 and older hold a bachelor’s degree, and 17.94% have a graduate degree. Additionally, 21.6% of residents have some college education without a degree, reflecting a commitment to higher education. Cleveland also features a narrow racial gap in degree attainment, with just a -4.58% difference between white and non-white adults. Overall, Cleveland is recognized not only as the “Home of Rock and Roll” but also as one of America’s smartest cities.
