JEFFERSON, Ohio-The Jefferson County Community Action Council hosted “Let’s Educate,” an event at Wallace Lodge in Cadiz’s Sally Buffalo Park. It aimed to inform residents of Harrison, Jefferson, Belmont, and Carroll counties about educational and training opportunities, as well as financing options. Schools and employers participated, offering insights on both short and long-term educational goals. This inaugural event was organized by Hope McAfee, director of Jefferson County CAC, with plans to expand and continue annually.
