Scruci Asks City to Join in Solution for School District

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-Bowling Green Superintendent Francis Scruci invited city leaders to participate in school matters during a City Council meeting. Scruci announced a community task force open meeting scheduled for June 25 to gather input on the school district’s bond issue, which has been rejected twice by voters.

The meeting aims to determine what initiatives the community will support. City Council President Mike Aspacher expressed gratitude for the invitation and past collaboration. Additionally, Mayor Dick Edwards revealed plans to declare June 15 as Jerry Anderson Day in Bowling Green, honoring the newscaster’s contributions to the community over his 44-year broadcasting career. Anderson’s involvement in local fundraising efforts has been recognized and appreciated by many.
