BATAVIA, Ohio-Matthew and Charles Edmonson, a couple from Batavia, Ohio, previously facing charges related to the alleged torture and abuse of their five adopted children, now face an additional 26 charges. These include 19 counts of endangering children and 7 counts of felonious assault, following new information from witnesses. Their son, Bailey Edmonson, also faces charges for allegedly being complicit in their abusive behaviors. The couple is accused of mistreating not only their adopted children but also other children in their care. The allegations describe severe mistreatment, including confinement in a basement without food or clothing, depicted in graphic videos recovered by investigators.
