LIMA, Ohio-Allen County Head Start and Early Head Start, part of the West Ohio Community Action Partnership, are accepting applications for their free programs aimed at low-income families with children from birth to 5 years. These programs focus on social, emotional, and intellectual development, offering both classroom instruction and home visits to support parenting skills. Staff use a curriculum called “Parents as Teachers” to help families advocate for their children’s early learning. They are currently seeking home-based instructors and provide assistance in obtaining necessary credentials. Interested individuals can contact WOCAP at 419-227-2586.
