Two men guilty of murder in the 2023 shooting death of 3-year-old Luis Diaz were sentenced to life in prison Tuesday.
Juan “Slim” Davis, 35, and Devonte “Baby” Parker, 30, will get their first chance at parole after 49 years. Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Shannon Gallagher ordered each man to serve consecutive sentences for murder and two counts of attempted murder, along with firearm and repeat violent offender specifications.
