INDIAN LAKE, Ohio-A 17-year-old girl named Chloe Hodge tragically lost her life in a head-on collision in McArthur Township. The accident occurred when a 2000 Ford F150 crossed the center line, colliding with Chloe’s 2011 Honda CR-Z. Chloe succumbed to her injuries, while the other driver sustained serious but stable injuries.
Police suspect the other driver may have been impaired, pending blood test results. Chloe, a junior at Indian Lake High School, was part of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center health career academy and is remembered as a bright, helpful individual. Counseling services are offered at both schools in response to the tragedy. Chloe’s schoolmates are encouraged to wear her favorite color, lavender, in her memory. This incident follows another recent loss of a student from Indian Lake High School in a separate crash.
