BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-The “Face2Face” candidates night, sponsored by the Bowling Green League of Women Voters, offered a unique approach resembling speed dating, where candidates engaged directly with citizens. Approximately 100 attendees participated, with 13 candidates seated at round tables, each interacting with groups of citizens for 10 minutes.
Unlike traditional forums, this format allowed citizens to pose questions directly to candidates on various topics, including rental housing inspections, property maintenance, infrastructure, and economic development strategies.
