COLUMBUS, Ohio-On August 3rd, FICO will host two free credit education events in Columbus: the Score A Better Future™ (SABF) workshop for adults and a Score A Better Future Fundamentals workshop for teens, in partnership with the Central Ohio Youth Sports Collaborative. These events aim to enhance financial literacy by explaining the role of credit and the FICO® Score, used by most US lenders for decisions. Attendees will also receive free tickets to the Chelsea vs Manchester City soccer match at Ohio Stadium. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty will attend the match’s pregame ceremony. The workshops, part of FICO’s ‘Fields of Financial Empowerment’ tour, will include opportunities for personal consultations with Money Management International (MMI) to review credit scores and financial planning.
