PICKERINGTON, Ohio-Pickerington Local School District Superintendent Chris M. Briggs has submitted his resignation, effective January 31, citing retirement reasons. He has been with the district since July 2017 and expressed gratitude for the relationships he has built with staff, students, community members, and the board. Briggs plans to assist in the transition to new district leadership. The Pickerington Schools Board of Education will vote on accepting his resignation during their upcoming meeting.
