However, they were told they couldn’t address the board during executive session and were advised to email their concerns instead. Despite some teachers feeling uneasy about the feedback forms provided during stakeholder forums, the board aimed to maintain fairness in the process. The board had narrowed down the pool of candidates to three finalists: Kim Brueck, Ted Haselman, and Bruce Otley.
