YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio-A Youngstown teenager has entered pleas of denial to charges of strangulation and misdemeanor assault related to a domestic incident in Struthers earlier this month. In Mahoning County Juvenile Court, the teen, who was not previously in custody, was placed on electronically monitored house arrest and ordered to have no contact with the victim. The charges stem from an argument following a party, during which the teen allegedly became aggressive, strangled the victim, and threw her from a car. Despite the defense attorney’s request to avoid house arrest, the magistrate opted for this measure due to the felony charge.
