COLUMBUS, Ohio-April 30th is designated as “CASA Day in Ohio,” honoring Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers and programs statewide. The day will feature various events, including a gathering at the Ohio Statehouse Rotunda from 5 to 6 p.m., where volunteers, lawmakers, advocates, and even court therapy dogs will convene for remarks, refreshments, and special guests.
Ohioans are encouraged to wear blue and red to raise awareness about CASA. Many county CASA programs are hosting events throughout April, such as open houses, appreciation dinners, and celebrations. Ways to get involved include attending events, contacting local lawmakers, and sharing information on social media.
