COLUMBUS, Ohio-Upper Arlington City Schools is revisiting its master plan for aging buildings, nearly a decade after first starting the process. The district initially focused on its high school and five elementary schools, with plans to address the middle schools and early childhood center in 10 to 15 years. That timeline has now passed, and it’s time to reassess the remaining buildings, including Jones Middle School (100 years old), Hastings Middle School (built in 1961), and Burbank Early Childhood School (built in 1971). None of these schools have had major updates in recent decades.
