Out of 55 schools that sent athletes, Highland placed third as a team and River Valley sixth at the New Lexington Girls Wrestling Invitational over the weekend.
Highland’s Emma Bolton posted the best finish, taking second at 190 pounds. Also for the Scots, Brielle Gilmore was third at 115 and Kayla Trainer fifth at 140. For River Valley, Kylee Sardina was third at 140, Havyn Rogers fifth at 135, Valerie Riegel sixth at 110 and Helin Topcu sixth at 190.
