CLEVELAND, Ohio-The jury trial for a 17-year-old boy charged with the murder of a 15-year-old Cleveland girl in 2022 was canceled after he pleaded guilty to charges of reckless homicide. Steven Fisher admitted to reckless homicide, possession of stolen property, grand theft, and gross abuse of a corpse.
The victim, Jaiden Rose Rentas, was found dead in a vehicle in Cleveland’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood. Fisher faces a maximum prison sentence of 12 years if all charges run consecutively. He will be sentenced on May 22.
